Currently, the continuity of life and reproduction is being influenced by new techniques within the gestation system. Constant advances in reproductive technology lead to the timeless creation of beings, creating an evident rupture between nature and the biological time of each individual. "What leads us to the end... beyond the realm of servile imitation of Nature, to enter the much more interesting field of human invention." Aldous Huxley (1932). The dystopian within a work of fiction becomes reality. Within the market, countless options for procreation through genetic manipulation emerge. Scientific progress challenges the laws of nature. The power to choose from a catalog the physiognomic characteristics, ethnic background, genetic lineage, and intellectual formation of each specimen create designer babies.
