Workshop at the Belgian Munition Works, Clevedon Road, Twickenham, Greater London

Also known as the Pelabon Works, the Belgian Munition Works was established by the Belgian engineer and refugee, Charles Pelabon. A Belgian workforce made hand grenades and artillery shells for the Allied war effort. A sizeable Belgian community soon developed in the Richmond area.
