Mars images captured at the Dark Sky® Alqueva Observatory in Cumeada, while Mars was still relatively close to Earth.
The final image compiles thousands of frames in a sequence taken on a time lapse of about 60 minutes.
The image on the left, shows us the South Ice Cap facing downwards. On the right it’s the same inverted image of Mars.
