In this design, most of the Pershing's Memorial and park remain except for a new plane that covers the existing unappealing pit. This new floor would support a world map in solar paving showing the allied nations, the central powers, and the neutral nations illuminated in color LED lights. This would also offer a grant space for commemorative ceremonies. The second part of this plane would be an inset blow up of the major battle theater in northern France. This would be highly interactive. As a visitor stepped on a battlefield a piezoelectric charge would illuminate the battlefield name and relevant information. At the same time it would signal one of the five monitors which would show authenticated photography of the conflict that would be recordable on the visitors iPads and phones.
