The wrapping cloth is made of patchwork in the form of small squares of different coloured fabric arranged alternately. Each square is outlined in satin stitch using metal strip and contains a raised satin stitch flower also worked in metal strip over cotton thread couching. The edges of the cloth are worked in wrapped metal strip work
