Wright Brothers Work Shed Representation

During early flight-testing along the sand dunes of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, the Wright Brothers worked out of a wooden work shed. This shed housed tools and equipment as the brothers pieced together their early aircraft, modifying them as needed based on flight-testing. A smaller-sized representation of this work shed allows Museum visitors a glimpse back in time to one of mankind’s greatest inventions and achievements. A living history character portraying Orville Wright greets visitors with tales of early flight.
