Metamorph

<metamorph> shows the process in which the face of “Kate”, 3D character for bundle provided by “Poser pro” changes through sound. The sound controlled by irregularly random signals dissembles the face of “Kate” into dot, line, and surface. Dissembled face of “Kate” has obscure gender through which it is hard to determine whether it is the face of a man or a woman. As the face is repeatedly dissembled and assembled through sound, it changes into another person’s face. In this process, uncanniness occurs, the uncanny emotion is the purpose of the sound itself.
