In the second entrance room, parts of the Renaissance furnishings of Dessau Palace from around 1550 can be seen on the ceiling and walls; the architect Friedrich Wilhelm von Erdmannsdorff had them removed during the Classicist reconstruction of the Residence and installed in the Gothic House.
