Image headed by number VII of the manuscript "Memories of the Peruvian monarchy or Sketch of the history of the Incas", written by Justo Sahuaraura (Cusco, 1775 - Canas, ca. 1853), descendant of the Incas Huayna Capac and Pachacutec with a vocation for the libertarian cause. The work narrates a recount of the genealogy of the Incas, among other topics related to Independence from the author's perspective.
The character inside the medallion surrounded by a laurel wreath represents the Inca Yahuar Huacac. In the lower part and on the back of the portrait, there's a brief historical description of the Inca and his descendants.
