Yann Seznec - Currents

'Currents' is a performance and installation using instruments made from discarded computer fans. It uses weather data to recreate weather conditions from around the world, reflecting our obsession with change, as well as the realities of a global economy that make it cheaper to produce anew rather than repair. Commissioned by Edinburgh Art Festival and PRS, Currents was awarded the British Composer Award for Sonic Art in 2015.
