The childhood tales of Krishna, who is being brought up by Yashoda is full of fun and mischief. Krishna, born to Devaki and Vasudeva but raised by Yashoda and Nandagopal to keep him out of the clutches of Kamsa, Devaki's brother. Krishna is instantly endearing but naughty to the core. Yashoda's motherly love is overwhelming and encompassing, and her adoration for the baby Krishna on her lap is reflected strongly in this work.
