Image headed by the number X of the manuscript "Memories of the Peruvian monarchy or Sketch of the history of the Incas", written by Justo Sahuaraura (Cusco, 1775 - Canas, ca. 1853), descendant of the Incas Huayna Cápac and Pachacútec, and of vocation for the libertarian cause. Inspired by the Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, the work narrates an account of the genealogy of the Incas, among other issues related to Independence, from the author's perspective.
The character inside the medallion surrounded by a laurel wreath represents the Inca Yupanqui. In the lower part and on the back of the portrait, there is a brief historical description of the Inca and his descendants.
