Yves Meyer: "Artificial intelligence can't think"

On October 25, 2018, a mathematical genius visited the Ramón Areces Foundation. Yves Meyer, professor at the École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay and winner of the Abel Prize in 2017, gave the lecture 'The wavelet saga: from oil exploration to deep learning'. This activity was organized in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences and the Royal Spanish Mathematical Society.
