This photograph shows ‘yarn-bombing’ as an artistic way of demonstrating the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. The varying shades of red, brown, orange and yellow wrap around the tree trunk and are representative of the sacred Aboriginal colours. Different toned hands are also incorporated into the piece, showing unity and inclusiveness. This artwork is found in the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence (NCIE).
