The white woollen hat is made of 6 wedges and has an embroidered motif of edelweiss, the edge is trimmed with red felt The outer jacket called “cucha” has long, wide sleeves, red felt trim and embroidered floral motifs similar to those on the hat. The sleeves and the high-fitting collar have decorative tapes embroidered with a gold thread.
The “cucha” jacket together with the hat are a souvenir item from the Podhale region. This type of craftwork was popular during the interwar period, and in the 1960s.
