“Invincible”

“Invincible,” the second single from MGK’s debut studio album Lace Up, reached Number 8 on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart. Initially concerned that the song was too commercial and “cookie cutter,” Kelly later had a change of heart, saying, “So when the label stepped in, and this song was brought to me, my biggest thing was like, ‘Oh, I never wanna sell out,’ when really it's just like [people] giving you the opportunity to do exactly what you wanted to, and this is a great song to do it to. And at the end of the day, it took me resisting that song, and…shunning it and talking down on it and all this other sh*t and re-recording it multiple times to realize how great this song is.”
