“Kunaisho Gomonkagami” License (1926)

This license granted permission to the merchants who purveyed products to the Imperial Household Department to enter the Imperial Household. It was made of wood with a Japanese lacquer finish. Isehan-honten was officially granted a Gomonkagami license on November 28, 1926. It has the symbol for the Imperial Household Department with the note, ‘“Cars and horses must slow down when passing through the gates”’ on its front. On its back is the Gomonkagami seal and the license number 34.
