Signed by purchasers and Kantor, a deal stated that paintings could be written upon, including: “insults, praise, expressions of recognition, compassion, rudeness (…) erased, crossed out, drawn upon (…) paintings can be treated at will (…) pierced, burnt (…) sold, repurchased, speculated on, stolen” (Tadeusz Kantor, “Multipart – Warunki umowy”).
