“Prometeion” Energy visitor center in Trillo

The Prometeion museum is located in the mini hydroelectric power plant of San Blas, over the river Cifuentes, just a few metres away from its confluence with the Tagus. It is also known as Casa de los Molinos. It is the oldest building in town (12th century), which was the place where wood was cut to be later transported by gancheros. This fact relates the book Journey to the Alcarria by Camilo Jose Cela with The river that takes us. Yet another way to combine literature and life.
