Ding Kiln, built in the Tang Dynasty, was famous in the Northern Song Dynasty for producing high-quality white glazed porcelain. This dish has shallow sides and a round foot. The entire body is covered in a white glaze. A flower pattern is pressed into the inside surface of the bowl. The bottom of the dish has a decorative pattern and is engraved with the characters "he yi wei".
