The Spring

The theme of The Spring (泉) is based on relationship of mother and her child depicting a mother who is bathing her child. The mother is seated, with her hands around the child. The author sublimated simple life to art with concise and simple techniques. The strong contrast of smooth body and the pattern of the mother’s hair provide changes in density, thus showing rich textures.
