Élisabeth of France

May 3, 1764 - May 10, 1794

Élisabeth of France, known as Madame Élisabeth, was a French princess and the youngest sibling of King Louis XVI. She remained beside the king and his family during the French Revolution and was executed at Place de la Révolution in Paris during the Terror. She is venerated and regarded by the Catholic Church as a martyr and has been declared a Servant of God by Pope Pius XII.
