Frattura Scomposta Contemporary Art was founded in December 2004 with the intention of bringing to light emerging artists considered of quality, through a very careful selection, made by a scientific committee made up by internationally renowned art experts.
The name Frattura Scomposta Contemporary Art comes from the fact of wanting to create a "outside the box" NON PROFIT structure, where the artistic quality is put on top of all the knowledges and favouritisms.
Frattura Scomposta contemporary art has considered fundamental that all emerging Italian artists of any origin, could have a chance to show their art works to the selection commitee and in case of approval been futured in the magazine or through the exhibition organized during the years showing their work to the public.
The interest in the project has incresead very fast and in 2007 Frattura Scomposta Contemporary Art, decided to "get out" these artists from the virtual web platform and immerse them in the "concreteness". During the show in Venice in occasion of the 52nd Biennale Arts visual,Frattura Scomposta Contemporary Art has presented the exhibition project "Aliens, the alienating forms of contemporary" which was included in in this context as "offiical side show". The project received very large approval by the public and by the art magazines.
From that year Frattura Scomposta Contemporary Art realized, until now, dozens of institutional exhibitions in magnificent spaces located in various Italian cities, presenting always absolutely free of charge, hundreds of great depth and quality artists.
Now Frattura Scomposta Contemporary Art collaborates and interacts with the major international artistic realities, with the intention of bringing the Italian contemporary art to the vision of a greater number of fans. It is also with this in mind, absolutely non-profit, we have started a partnership with the prestigious cultural platform "Google Arts & Culture", through which, we want to introduce a selection of our artists an the contexts in which they generally operate on the level of artistic and cultural events with the knowledge that our work and our efforts are appreciated.
