The Moogseum, a project of the Bob Moog Foundation, brings Bob Moog's pioneering legacy to life through interactive exhibits that inspire the innovative spirit at the intersection of science, electronic music, and innovation. Our experiential historical explorations and multi-sensory educational exhibits include: Interactive timelines of Bob Moog's life and career as well as the Evolution of Synthesis, with access to over 1,000 pieces of archival material, a re-creation of Bob's workbench, a chance to play the theremin while learning about its magical interface and its creator, an immersive visualization tracing how electricity become sound when it travels through a circuit board, a chance to play a synthesizer and explore the properties of synthesis, and much more. The Moogseum draws on the vast resources of the Bob Moog Foundation Archives as well as on the private Moog Family Archives, many of which are found in these online exhibits.
The Bob Moog Foundation/ Moogseum is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. We are not associated with the manufacturer Moog Music, Inc.
