Nez Perce National Historical Park commemorates the contributions the Nez Perce have made and help protect and preserve sites, stories, and artifacts associated with their history and culture. Nez Perce National Historical Park is a unique unit in the National Park Service. Unlike other sites that have a contiguous block of land, this park stretches across much of the traditional Nez Perce homeland (Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington).
Nez Perce National Historical Park has a rich collection of items related to Nez Perce culture and history. From archeological specimens to archival materials, the park's museum collection encompasses ten thousand years of history.
