Royal Institute of British Architects

The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) is home to one of the world's leading architecture collections. The RIBA Collections feature over four million items spanning the history of architecture from the 15th century to the present day. Among them are rare illustrated texts, original drawings, architectural models, archive material and photographs, offering global scope and rich historical detail.

The RIBA collections are free to access and open to all. There are two main locations based in London, which allow visitors opportunity to discover and explore the treasures of the collection. There is also a digital catalogue and image library which people can use to explore the archive and purchase images from the collection. RIBA has a dynamic programme of exhibitions and events that engage and bring the collection to life. These installations and events invite the public to interact with architectural history within a contemporary framework.

RIBA International offers support for members based or wanting to work overseas, with four global regions - Americas, Europe, Middle East & Africa, and Asia & Australasia - and six established International Chapters serving local communities of architects across the world and hosting regular events and activities.
