The National Museum in Lublin is the biggest museum in the eastern part of Poland and a vivid place of cultural exchange, both local and international. Its headquarters is situated on the Castle Hill in the heart of the city center. The museum collects the exhibits of the Polish and European art as well as the material and spiritual culture (including archeology, ethnography, history, visual and decorative arts) – in total over 170 000 objects.
