The United Nations was created to rebuild a world in the aftermath of the second World War, and to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war. In 2020, the United Nations marked its 75th anniversary at a time of great disruption, compounded by an unprecedented global health crisis with severe economic and social impacts. Over a year of dialogue, we came together to discuss our priorities as a human family, and how we can build a better future for all.
