88Nine Radio Milwaukee's monthly music education and talent accelerator program for Greater Milwaukee area students. Students have the opportunity to learn about the music industry through featured guests while building relationships with their peers.

Each Music Lab begins with an interview and Q&A session with the featured guests. The discussion is based around a unique topic catered to the guests' experience such as music production, women in the music industry, management, etc.

Featured guests end the lab with a workshop or performance based on their artistic preference in order to engage with the students musically.

The Goal

Believing that collaboration through music and art is critical to bridging the divides in Milwaukee communities, the Music Lab gives youth a space to create, be heard, and feel valued. The hope is that through new friendships and collaboration, these divides can be erased.
