Artist Interviews
Each Music Lab begins with an interview and Q&A session with the featured guests. The discussion is based around a unique topic catered to the guests' experience such as music production, women in the music industry, management, etc.

Open Mic Session
Each discussion is followed with an Open Mic session for student performers. Suggestions and observations are then made by the featured guests

To end the 2018-19 school year, six student acts were chosen to represent the Grace Weber's Music Lab program and performed in front of a Summerfest audience at the Johnson Controls World Sound Stage.
Guest Performances
Featured guests end the lab with a workshop or performance based on their artistic preference in order to engage with the students musically.
The Goal
Believing that collaboration through music and art is critical to bridging the divides in Milwaukee communities, the Music Lab gives youth a space to create, be heard, and feel valued. The hope is that through new friendships and collaboration, these divides can be erased.
