On the façade, facing Praça da Matriz, serving as a frame for the main entrance, there are female figures alluding to Industry – with the torch, representing the forge and helmet – and to Agriculture – with the presence of the fruits of the earth.

To the left of the main door of the palace, on a pedestal, a female figure, bare-chested, sits on her legs. In her left hand she holds a cornucopia, from which fruit comes out, while her right hand runs along her body. On her head is a garland of laurels.

"Spring" in the garden of the residential wing
In 1910 Landowski was invited to create the three sculptures that decorate the facades and the garden of the residential wing of Piratini Palace.
The cleaning of the sculptural ensembles that make up the façades of the Piratini Palace is one of the most important actions in commemoration of the Palace's centenary, aimed at preserving the artistic and architectural heritage that helps tell its story. The restoration work was carried out by Estúdio Sarasá, sponsored by Corsan and with the support of the Secretariat for Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development.
The SpringPiratini Palace
The sculptural group "A Primavera" (The spring), signed by the artist, was created in Paris between 1910 and 1913. The pieces were brought in blocks from France and assembled in the Piratini Palace. They represent the 4 seasons in analogy to the 4 stages of life.
"A Primaver" (Spring)
