The Beatles were at a crossroads as a band in 1969. A collective group grew into four individual solo songwriters/performers. To capture the magic of the early days of their career, The Beatles tasked themselves with an impossible challenge...

...to get back to their roots as a rock & roll band with simple production and great songs. Let It Be instead illustrates the complex story of The Beatles at a creative highpoint, capturing the spirit of the early days while creating new paths forward in music.

Starr borrowed his then wife Maureen Starkey’s red Lurex rain jacket for extra warmth. Lennon borrowed Yoko Ono’s fur coat.
