Pakola fizzy beverage (2020)SOCH Outreach Foundation
Doodh Soda (milk soda) is made by vigorously mixing equal parts of boiling milk with ice cold water in a metal bucket and then a soda of choice is added to it - usually the popular, vividly green Pakistani ice cream soda, ’Pakola’, which is a firm favorite with locals, and unofficially known as the national soda of Pakistan.

Sugar or rose flavored syrups can be used to enhance the sweetness of the drink. The final mixture is either blended with ice, or rapidly poured between two glasses filled with ice, after which it is generally topped with frothy foam for flair and aeration.
