Louis Delsarte's West End Gem is a 15-color silkscreen Fine Art Print, Limited Edition of 100, available for purchase on the Hammonds House Museum web site.

"When I paint, I seek beauty in my work. Painting is a form of prayer and keeps me connected to God." Louis J. Delsarte

While growing up in New York City, Delsarte was surrounded by music including jazz, opera, musicals, and blues. These influences, along with his interest in world culture, served as an inspiration for his art.

"I have discovered through trial and error the use of texture, color and form, and that the abstraction of space is perhaps more important than the subject matter." Louis J. Delsarte

Here is Delsarte's interpretation of the entrance to Hammonds House Museum, a Victorian Home built in 1857, and lovingly restored by its former owner, Dr. Otis Hammonds.
