A Gentleman Collector from Indiana: Portraits from the Collection of Booth Tarkington

2016 marks the 70th anniversary of the death of Hoosier native Booth Tarkington, who was a former trustee of the John Herron Art Museum and a dedicated art collector. This exhibition of portraits focuses on Tarkington’s interest in the human face, a subject he wrote about extensively.
