Lang Co beach is located in Lang Co bay, Phu Loc district of Thua Thien Hue province. It is about 30 kilometers south of Da Nang city center and 70 kilometers north of Hue city. Lang Co has long been known to be a land of beautiful natural landscapes, "a convergence of heaven and earth", a wonderland with white sandy beaches stretching over 10 kilometers, the clear blue water. It is surrounded by the majestic Truong Son mountain range, hiddens the vast mysterious Lap An lagoon (or also known as An Cu lagoon).On May 16, 2009, Chairman of Mr. Jérôme Bignon Club officially organized the Ceremony of awarding to Lang Co Bay, Thua Thien Hue Province, as an official member 28th Worldbays Club. The award is a part of the 5th International Conference of the World's Best Bay Club (Worldbays Club), which took place in the city of Setubal, Portugal. There are delegates from 140 countries and other representatives of 21 members of the club. This is a great honor, opening the opportunity for Lang Co to develop tourism and services.

The 800-hectare Lap An lagoon is a large brackish lagoon and is part of Lang Co bay, Phu Loc district, nestled on two passes, Phu Gia and Hai Van.

Lap An lagoon is most beautiful in the afternoon, showing up as a watercolors painting.
