Explore what you feel when you see the work by substituting things and sketching, instead of words. In the education program, we value the concept of "Such Such Such" and develop activities to "see, feel, and express the work."

Concept of "Such Such Such" (2020) by HIBINO KatsuhikoOriginal Source: “Such Such Such”

"We are always aware of it in our daily lives. I don't know if that feeling is correct, but I'm sure I'm feeling it. I wonder if people who are not me also feel it. I'm sure people will feel differently. Is there a correct way to feel it?

When I face artworks at the museum, I look for my feelings not through words, such as 'this feeling, that feeling, sort of something like that feeling' I can see what I am feeling". HIBINO Katsuhiko

When you get to the front of the artwork, first, let's take a closer look. "What kind of thing is expressed?" "What kind of part interests you?" While looking at the work, there are "feelings inside of me".

There is a table with a lot of "things" near the work. Choose one that you think "feels close to what you felt" and carefully put it in a wooden box. Here, the thing that connects your feelings and the artwork is called a "connector".

Using the map as a clue, you can visit three works. Please select one connector for each work. The box, which was initially empty, has become lively. Does the box show the work you saw today? Or is it a representation of who I am today?
