Arqam Al Abri is an Emirati musician based in Dubai. Born into a family of musicians, he grew up surrounded by records, tapes and live music, which introduced him to the pioneers of rock music.
Legends like Elvis Presley and Little Richie initiated him into the world of rock & roll and the Motown style. As he grew up, Arqam’s music was shaped by his father, his brother and the dynamic city he grew up in.
The timeless values that surrounded him, like honesty, courage, perseverance, found their way into his music, too. His latest single ‘Heavy’ celebrates perseverance during hard times. The lyrics of his songs are also rooted in positivity, love and a search for purpose.
