Johan Tonnoir is a free runner based in Paris. He has been practicing since the age of 9.

"I do not consider my practice as dangerous providing I am in control of my environment. The difficulty however lies in the anticipation of each stunt, the doubts and the pressure of that anticipation."

"Your body and your mind have to be connected. You have to listen to both to understand your physical limitations and let your mind go."

Trashhand is a Chicago photographer specializing in architecture and urban environments.

"When I'm out shooting time is irrelevant, I'm lost in the moment, searching and exploring for the next photo. Time is the last thing that's on my mind when I'm exploring."

"The risks associated with exploring mean absolutely nothing to me. When I'm in the moment, crawling through tunnels, hanging from rafters, sitting on the edge of a rooftop, I'm lost in the photo, I'm lost through the lens of my camera."

"I don’t see through my eyes, I see through my camera. I feel the moment, I feel the location, I feel that light. These moments, these locations, they push me not only to be a better photographer and a better explorer, but a more fearless human being, a more fearless artist."

"Johan defies gravity with the way that he moves, photography defies time, as time passes I'm able to capture that moment and break its rule, and hold on to that second and that moment forever."

"Running and exploring unseen corners of the museum, and being the first to have ever done it, was an incredible experience

My jump between both towers was my main challenge during this film. From the moment I saw it, it called me."

"'The Matter of Time' took me into a different space and time. It made me want to use my stunts to convey the way I felt in the sculpture."

Johan Tonnoir

"Walking through 'The Matter of Time' was an incredible experience and it's something I will never forget. Walking through that art installation you feel things you never thought you would."
