Hi, I am Lina, also - Disciplina

Using the name Disciplina definitely keeps me on my toes. It’s like a constant reminder to stay sharp in my work - focused, structured, and intentional. But it also reminds me that taking breaks is its own form of discipline.

(Yes, Disciplina even approves of naps!) I appreciate the idea that being disciplined is to know that inspiration doesn’t always come by forcing it.

Second Date (2024)

As a freelance illustrator based in Vilnius, Lithuania, I create artwork that blends poetry with visual storytelling.

I’m interested in how shapes, colors, and abstract forms can express the subtle, complex emotions that define our humanity.

Camp for Father and Son (2024)

My goal is to evoke feelings of longing, curiosity, and connection in each piece.

Picnic at Hanging Rock (2023)

My inspiration draws from a mix of influences -70s, retro aesthetics, vintage poster art, Op Art, Fauvism, and 20th-century graphics by artists like Krasauskas, Birutė Žilytė, and the symbolic works of Čiurlionis.

Friendship (2022)

These influences from the past merge with the present reality I live in: books, movies, the people I encounter, the colors and corners of Vilnius, nature, unexpected moments, and even dreams.

Summer (2023)

It’s a blend of nostalgia and the present, creating what could be called a ‘style’.

Creating for me is a dynamic process - blending the past with the present. I often start with a simple sketch and write down the key message I want to convey.

Diffusion (2022)

Then, I add shapes to complement the main idea.

Nostalgia (2024)

I allow for detours, as what might seem like a mistake can become a vital part of the piece.

The digital medium lets me explore countless color combinations, choosing those I’m most drawn to.
