Miomafo Style of East Nusa Tenggara
Miomafo style of weaving is complex because it combines weaving and tapestry. The complexity and richness of this cloth would only belong to higher rank within the tribe.
The cloth is combined from three different parts of weaving. The white part in the middle is combined with the red part with technique locally called buna technique.
The blue, red and white geometric design is simultaneously woven in with a local technique called sotis .
The black-yellow-red combination part of this cloth resulted from tapestry technique.
