Each video in the Prospect North exhibition features narration by Ricky Ross, as well as interviews and footage of key projects and places throughout Scotland.
Grodians social housing Shetland based Richard Gibson Architects worked with Hjaltland Housing Association on the Grödians housing scheme to meet the need to provide quality social housing in Lerwick.

Exploring Scotland
At the 'altar' space in the Prospect North exhibition visitors are able to explore Scotland's industry, population, infrastructure, initiatives and landscapes through a range of augmented reality apps.

At The Prospect North altar visitors can study the "Atlas of Productivity", as well as using iPads to view augmented reality maps of Scotland's initiatives overlaid on the large wooden map.

Visitors to the exhibition can 'travel' to Scotland by pointing an iPad at the large paining - by Ellis O'Connor - which triggers a video of Scotland's landscapes and places.
360 degree video
Using virtual reality headsets - housed within three animal heads - visitors could view 360 degree videos.

Trying on a unicorn head the visitor views a 360 degree video of Scottish architecture; the masks of the polar bear, moose and unicorn represents the Arctic, Nordic region and Scotland respectively.

Created to be viewed in Virtual Reality headsets here is one of the videos looking at the past, filmed in the Isle of Skye.
As part of the Prospect North exhibition in Venice, a range of events were held in the exhibition space. This allowed visitors to delve deeper into the themes covered in the exhibition.

The Prospect North exhibition was on show at la Biennale di Architettura, in Venice, between 26 May - 26 June 2016 and was hosted at the Ludoteca Santa Maria Ausilitatrice in the Castello district.
The exhibition was created by Lateral North, Dualchas Architects and Soluis, co-curated by Architecture and Design Scotland and commissioned by the Scotland + Venice partnership – Scottish Government, Architecture and Design Scotland, Creative Scotland and the British Council Scotland.
The Prospect North exhibition and event series ran from 26 May until 25 June 2016 at Ludoteca Santa Maria Ausiliatrice in Venice, before returning to Scotland for a nationwide tour as part of Scotland’s Year of Innovation, Architecture and Design and the Festival of Architecture in 2016.
