Contemporary Artists from Friuli-Venezia Giulia (Part 1)

Fabio Cipolla, born on 9 February 1998 in Gorizia is a graduated from the Max Fabiani Art School and a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara, specializing in Sculpture.

Udine, 1981, Italian filmmaker and producer. After graduating in Trieste, he attends the Sicilian branch of the Italian National Film School. He held the task of teaching tutor at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. In 2014 he founded his company Takaità Film. He completed several documentaries such as La fine che non ho fatto (2011), La battaglia di Capo Bon (2017), Pellegrino (2018), In a future April (2019), codirected with Francesco Costabile. His award winning works participated in several international festivals, such as Biografilm Festival, Trento Film Festival, DOC-Cévennes, DOK Leipzig, Locarno Film Festival, Minsk International Film Festival Listapad. At the moment he is developing the documentary Before the truth, co-directed with Riccardo Campagna, the project The Perriera case with Ruben Monterosso and Not available with Gianni Sirch, and The last lesson with Andrea Mura.

Visual artist, she deals with drawing, sculpture and installations.  As an artist, she participates in public and private art contests for the creation of monumental sculptural works and has joined a stone sculpture and Land art symposia. She has also experienced artist residences. At present her activity is the creation and implementation of artistic and cultural projects in her area, with particular attention to the twentieth century and contemporary art world collaborating with the best-known art critics of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region (Italy) in synergy with both public institutions and private associations.  She lives and works in Cervignano del Friuli (Udine, Italy).

Born in Pordenone on November 13th, 1984, GianLuca Belluzzo fell in love with the bass guitar at the age of 17 and later played with several bands on many Italian and European stages including London (UK) and Aalborg (DK). The urge to experiment new sounds and create something new has recently brought him to engage on a solo project. The music that comes to life in GianLuca's studio brings together many different influences, from classic rock to more recent sounds and genres, in order to fashion something new and personal.
