Dismantle Yourself curated by Graham Dunning (2017-04-15/2017-04-15) by Graham DunningSomerset House
Continuing Somerset House Studio’s late night series of guest curations deep inside The Deadhouse, Associate Artist Graham Dunning deconstructed the rave with Dismantle Yourself, a night of experimental dancefloor focused electronic music.
Dismantling the processes and foundations beneath the basslines and rhythms. Intrinsically DIY. Everything hacked and torn. Immanent production. Process as performance as sensory stimulus. Desiring machines.

dtub
Musician, composer and sound artists Jaxson Payne uses an electronic drum kit to trigger samples from a custom library of thousands of carefully chosen sounds, creating engaging live techno performances. The project began in 2003 and now, developed and sharpened, the name 'dtub' has been adopted to trademark this customised set-up and method of live performance. A founding member of Koept (a Cornish based organisation for electronic art and sound), Payne's work has led to a variety of projects: from experimental electronic recordings as Personality Son, forward thinking techno releases using his Derehctub pseudonym and intricately constructed sound-collage works under his own name.
