Getting to Know Fatima
Fatima, a Dutch-Moroccan photographer, flew to Dubai on business to document the Netherlands Pavilion's participation in Expo Dubai 2020. She fell in love with the city and chose to make it her new home, leaving the Netherlands behind to start a new chapter filled with success.
A talented photographer pursuing her passion for capturing human emotions. Inspired by Dubai’s cultural diversity and dedication to preserving local heritage, she aims to depict the UAE's distinctiveness through her photos.

From a young age, Fatima was drawn to the power of photography, captivated by the stories hidden within each image. At 12, she began capturing moments with family and friends using her father's camera.
Through formal education and online tutorials, she honed her hobby and developed her skills.
Fatima acknowledges the significant impact it had on her career with job opportunities and collaborations with international companies. She commends the UAE for its safety and cultural diversity, which enriched her experience.
