Noor Taan is a Lebanese designer who holds a master’s in industrial design from Pratt Institute. She creates unique pieces using ecologically safe materials. Her signature touch incorporates loofahs into all her works to showcase her unwavering support for eco-friendly causes.

After living in Lebanon, Montreal, and New York, she eventually settled in the UAE, where she found a supportive community for artists and sustainable art. Her work carries important messages about the environment and climate change, promoting awareness and societal change.
Preserving the environment has become Taan's personal mission. She tirelessly searches for sustainable and eco-friendly materials while also recycling used materials to create unique and environmentally conscious artwork.
Noor incorporates the loofah, a versatile material once used for bathing in Arab culture, into her clothing designs, decorative pieces, and installations. She chose this material because it serves as a useful tool for people before naturally decomposing and enriching the soil.

One of the most remarkable contributions is the Artist Residency in Nepal.
She devoted an entire month to creating eco-friendly clothing from recycled materials and loofahs that were later displayed in a solo exhibit at Bikalpa Art Center gallery to highlight the significance of sustainability.
Despite her young age, she has been involved in various events related to art. She has also been working hard to raise awareness about environmental issues and promote sustainable habits, as she strongly believes that art can significantly impact society.
Noor Taan brings her collection of Loofahs wherever she goes and uses it in all of her artistic projects as her unique touch that distinguishes her work from others.
