The futuristic combination of two glass buildings with panoramic windows and wooden inlays is home to traditional stalls with farmers selling their produce.
The designers wanted to keep the place compact. After all, it offers space to vendors selling only highest-quality products. Sellers are strictly selected. The overarching ambition - to support farmers and local producers, which explains a great number of family shops at Privoz.

Privoz has a veterinary laboratory that certifies foods allowing smaller farmers to save up money on the vets and guaranteeing safety to customers.

Privoz is renowned for its local produce and gourmet foods brought here from all over Russia. Rybnaya Lavka, for example, boasts northern fish (broad whitefish, muksun, omul or nelma), five varieties of red caviar, salmon, trout and even sturgeon.
