The Scottish Football Museum is Scotland’s national museum of association football, located in Hampden Park in Glasgow.

The Museum is home to 14 galleries and a national collection of over 45000 items – all telling the story of Scottish football and how it has become a key part of the nation’s identity and cultural heritage.

The collection includes the Scottish Cup, the oldest existing Association football trophy in the world. The cup and lid were created by Martin Hall & Company in London in 1873 before being sent to George Edwards & Sons in Glasgow for engraving and attachment of the footballer.

You can now visit the Scottish Football Museum at Hamden Park in Glasgow. Open seven days a week. It is in the top three per cent of visitor attractions in Scotland and became the first museum in Glasgow to receive the prestigious Five-star accolade from Visit Scotland!
