Dibba Bay
With determination and a firm belief in the marine wonders of the UAE, Rami Murray, the founder of "Dibba Bay," surpassed all doubts by cultivating premium oysters in Fujairah's warm coastal waters. These exceptional oysters are now delighting both local and global enthusiasts.

Driven by his dedication to sustainable food, Rami's oyster farming venture was born. Despite initial doubts due to the association of oysters with colder waters, he persisted, demonstrating that water temperature matters less than the availability of a diverse food supply.
In 2016, he embarked on the venture of cultivating premium oysters using sustainable and chemical-free methods. By relying on the natural ocean resources, he aimed to showcase the potential of harnessing nature's resources harmoniously while minimizing any negative impact.

Dibba Bay oysters are renowned for their delightful blend of freshness and oceanic flavors. Through their sustainable packaging approach, each oyster is carefully enveloped in elastic to retain moisture and ensure optimal freshness upon reaching the consumer.
Dibba Bay's premium oysters, sourced from the pristine waters of Dibba, are available through their three restaurants—two in Dubai and one in Fujairah. Additionally, they offer convenient online sales and delivery services through their website.
Murray's commitment to sustainability extends beyond his project. Collaborating closely with Fujairah government, he actively contributes to the creation of coral reefs along the coast by repurposing clean oyster shells in gabion cylinders, offering a substrate for coral growth.
The oyster lanterns are cleaned at least once a month. This cleaning process effectively removes the biofouling accumulated, enabling the oysters to naturally access their food sources more easily.

Dibba Bay currently produces 200,00 to 300,00 pieces a month. They aim to build up the number to half a million in the very near future.
