In addition to renovating and restoring Pittsburgh's historic theater district, the Trust works year round to bring unique and engaging artistic experiences to the communities of Pittsburgh.

This series is one of the most popular presented by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. Each year the Trust curates a season full of the latest Broadway hits, classics, and everything in between.

Gallery Crawls

Each quarter of the year the Trust hosts a Gallery Crawl to launch the changing of the visual art exhibitions in each gallery. The crawls are completely free and focus on highlighting artists from under represented communities. 

One of the most iconic annual events produced by the Cultural Trust is the Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival.

The Festival begins on the first Friday in June and takes place at the confluence of Pittsburgh’s famed three rivers in Point State Park, throughout picturesque Gateway Center, and in the city’s world-renowned Cultural District.

Three Rivers Arts Festival quickly grew from the “little outdoor art show” cited above to what is today the region’s largest multidisciplinary showcase of visual art and performing arts.

Founded in 1960 by the Women’s Committee of the Carnegie Museum of Art, Three Rivers Arts Festival has presented, during its vast and varied history, more than 10,000 visual and performing artists and entertained millions of residents and visitors. 

In addition to the Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival, the Trust transforms downtown Pittsburgh into a colorful work of art multiple times a year with various festivals. The list of festivals extends to the EQT Children's Theater Festival, Pittsburgh Humanities Festival, Bookish in the 'Burgh, Highmark First Night Pittsburgh, and Pittsburgh International Festival of Firsts.
