As Dorothy and the Scarecrow make their way along the Yellow Brick Road in The Wizard of Oz (1939), they come across an orchard of apple trees who aren't too happy when Dorothy picks an apple.

Towering over the flat plains of the Sahara is the bottle-shaped trunk of the Baobab tree that Rafiki, the mystic monkey of Disney's The Lion King (1994), makes his home. In real life, some Baobabs are revered as religious and ritual sites.
